Attorney Dolhancyk serves as the official liaison between NACBA’s leadership in Washington, D.C. and its member attorneys, bankruptcy judges, and other court officials in the state, as well as serving as primary contact for local media regarding consumer bankruptcy issues [NACBA]
11th Circuit Leader – Provide meaningful, insightful, and timely coverage of bankruptcy decisions impacting consumer attorneys and debtors within the purview of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (Georgia, Florida Alabama). Keep the membership apprised of developments and trends within the 11th Circuit and their impact on contemporary jurisprudence

Mentor – Georgia State University College of Law Bankruptcy Assistance Practice Program (“BAPP”). BAPP gives law students the opportunity to develop practical skills while helping an underserved sector of the greater Atlanta community. Local bankruptcy attorneys volunteer as mentors to assist and guide students through all aspects of a bankruptcy case. Students are active in the intake process, scheduling client meetings, gathering documents, attending client meetings and court hearings under the supervision of a mentor attorney [BAPP]

Received his B.A. from the University of Tennessee and his law degree from the University of Memphis (where he visited Graceland and saw the Mississippi River)
Attorney Dolhancyk is a frequent speaker at national conferences on consumer bankruptcy law issues, including NACBA, ABI, and Atlanta Bar Association (and frequently lectures his two boys on various topics)
